Steel Pipes — Seamless, ERW, Galvanized & Stainless from Turkey

Steeling.net supplies steel pipes directly from Turkish manufacturers — seamless carbon steel pipes, ERW welded pipes, hot-dip galvanized pipes, and stainless steel pipes (Grade 304/316L). Available to EN, ASTM, and API standards. Free for buyers, fast quote turnaround.

Steel pipes are cylindrical hollow sections used for fluid transport, structural columns, mechanical applications, and process piping. Unlike structural hollow sections, pipes are classified primarily by outer diameter (OD) and wall thickness (schedule), and are engineered for pressure-bearing and fluid-carrying applications. Steeling.net sources all major pipe types from Turkey’s established pipe manufacturing base.

Pipe Types We Supply

Seamless Steel Pipe

Produced without a weld seam — higher pressure ratings and superior mechanical properties. Used in oil & gas, hydraulic, boiler, and high-pressure applications.

  • OD range: 21.3 mm to 610 mm
  • Wall: Schedule 10 to Schedule XXS
  • Grades: ASTM A106 Gr.B, A53, EN 10216-2
  • Carbon and alloy steel grades

ERW Welded Pipe

Electric resistance welded pipe — cost-effective for structural, fluid transport, and general mechanical applications. Standard sizes available ex-stock.

  • OD range: 21.3 mm to 508 mm
  • Wall: 2.0 mm to 16.0 mm
  • Standards: EN 10217-1, ASTM A53 Type E
  • Grade: S235 / S355 / L235

Galvanized Steel Pipe

ERW or seamless pipes with hot-dip galvanized coating for water supply, construction scaffolding, outdoor structures, and agricultural applications.

  • Standard sizes: DN 15 to DN 150 (½“ to 6″)
  • Coating: EN ISO 1461 / ASTM A123
  • Thread ends or plain ends available
  • Grade: S235 / ASTM A53

Stainless Steel Pipe

Grade 304 and 316L pipes for hygienic, food-grade, chemical, and marine applications requiring corrosion resistance.

  • OD range: 6 mm to 323.9 mm
  • Grades: AISI 304, 304L, 316, 316L
  • Standards: EN 10217-7, ASTM A312
  • Welded and seamless options

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between seamless and ERW welded pipe?

Seamless pipe is produced by piercing a solid billet — there is no weld seam, resulting in consistent wall thickness and higher pressure ratings. ERW (Electric Resistance Welded) pipe is formed from flat strip and seam-welded longitudinally. ERW pipe is more cost-effective and suitable for most structural and low-to-medium pressure fluid applications. For high-pressure, high-temperature, or safety-critical applications, seamless pipe is generally specified.

What is the difference between pipe schedule (Sch 40, Sch 80) and wall thickness?

Pipe schedule is a standardised designation for wall thickness relative to outer diameter. For a given OD, higher schedule numbers mean thicker walls and higher pressure ratings. Sch 40 is the most common standard wall; Sch 80 (extra heavy) has a thicker wall for higher pressure applications. The actual wall thickness in mm varies with OD — for example, DN 100 (4″) Sch 40 has a 6.02 mm wall, while Sch 80 has an 8.56 mm wall.

Can pipes be supplied to API 5L standards for oil and gas applications?

Yes. API 5L Grade B and Grade X42/X52/X65 line pipe is available from our partner network for oil, gas, and pipeline applications. Specify your required grade, PSL level (PSL1 or PSL2), OD, wall thickness, and required inspection/documentation level and we will advise on availability and pricing.

Are galvanized pipes available with threaded ends?

Yes. Galvanized pipes in standard DN sizes (DN 15 to DN 150) are available with BSP (British Standard Pipe) or NPT (American National Taper Pipe) threaded ends for mechanical connections, or plain ends for welding. Specify your thread standard and fitting type in your inquiry.
