Custom & Industrial Steel Profiles — Cold-Drawn, Specialty & Machine Profiles from Turkey
Steeling.net sources custom and industrial steel profiles from specialist Turkish manufacturers for applications where standard catalogue sections do not meet your technical requirements. Our custom profile supply covers cold-drawn profiles with tight tolerances, non-standard cross-sections manufactured to customer drawings, and machine profiles for mechanical and automation applications.
We work directly with specialist cold-drawing and roll-forming facilities in Turkey to source profiles to your exact specification — material grade, surface finish, tolerance class, and length. Suitable for OEM buyers, machinery manufacturers, and engineering firms requiring repeatable, high-precision section supply.
Custom Profile Types
Cold-Drawn Profiles
Tight-tolerance drawn sections — rounds, squares, hexagons, and custom shapes. Surface finish superior to hot-rolled equivalents.
Custom Section Profiles
Non-standard cross-sections produced to customer DXF/DWG drawings. Roll-formed or extruded. MOQ from 1–5 tonnes.
Machine & Linear Profiles
Precision sections for linear guides, conveyor rails, rack mounting, and automation system frames.
What Makes a Profile “Custom”?
Custom profiles differ from standard catalogue sections in one or more of the following ways:
- Non-standard cross-section: The profile shape is unique to your application — not available in standard mill catalogues
- Tight dimensional tolerances: Cold-drawn or precision-rolled to h9/h11 tolerance vs. the wider tolerances of hot-rolled sections
- Special surface condition: Bright finish, descaled, or specific Ra surface roughness requirements
- Special material grade: Free-cutting steels, case-hardening grades, or stainless steel profiles in custom shapes
- Exact length supply: Fixed lengths with ±1 mm tolerance for automated production line feeding
How to Order Custom Profiles
- Submit your DXF, DWG, or PDF drawing via the quote form, or describe the cross-section dimensions in your inquiry
- Specify material grade (e.g., S355, 1.0503, 304 SS), tolerance class, surface finish, and required length
- We assess feasibility with our tooling network and provide pricing and lead time
- Prototype batch or full production run — flexible quantities from 1 tonne upward
- No tooling fee obligation for initial feasibility — tooling costs confirmed at quotation stage

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum order quantity for custom profiles?
Minimum order quantities for custom profiles depend on the cross-section size and production method. For cold-drawn profiles, practical minimums are typically 500 kg to 2 tonnes per shape. For roll-formed custom profiles, minimums are generally 2–5 tonnes to justify tooling setup. Prototype runs may be possible at lower quantities for feasibility testing — please describe your application in your inquiry.
What is a cold-drawn profile and when is it needed?
Cold-drawn profiles are produced by pulling hot-rolled bar or tube through a precision die at room temperature. This process improves dimensional accuracy (tolerances to h9), surface finish (bright surface), and mechanical properties (higher strength due to work hardening) compared to as-rolled sections. Cold-drawn profiles are required when close tolerances are needed for shaft fits, sliding guides, or automated feeding systems.
Can you produce profiles to my DXF drawing?
Yes. We work with roll-forming and cold-drawing facilities that can produce profiles to customer-supplied cross-section drawings. Please provide your DXF, DWG, or step drawing with dimensioned profile cross-section, tolerances, material grade, and length requirements. We will assess tooling feasibility and provide pricing typically within 3–5 business days.
What materials are available for custom profiles?
Carbon steel grades (S235, S275, S355, E235, E355), free-cutting steels (11SMnPb37, 11SMn30), case-hardening and through-hardening grades (16MnCr5, C45), and stainless steel (304, 316) are commonly available. Other alloy grades are available on inquiry depending on the production method.
